Hi my name is Jean and welcome to my website.

Fortunately for me I have resided in Staffordshire in the UK for most of my life not far from my favourite place “Cannock Chase Forest” a place of outstanding natural beauty, due to its beautiful vistas and amazing wildlife, which subsequently has been the inspiration for a substantial amount of my artwork.

I have been painting in oils for many years and gained my Batchelor of Arts   Degree in Fine Art - Painting  in 2007 from the University of Wolverhampton at the age of 59, previously being a self-taught oil painter before entering university the majority of my work there was installation based even though I enjoyed the experience, painting has always been my first Love. I now happily work from home in my converted garage.
